How to Reach Matelica
Rental Car with Driver
Available for:
- Airport transfers, stations to/from Matelica, Castelraimondo, and Fabriano;
- Transfer service to/from hotels and various locations for dinners and events;
- News: Pick-up and drop-off service directly at participants' homes from/to any Italian and foreign city (advance booking of at least 5 days is required) with a special discount for those who book both transfers at the beginning and end of the event.
The service is provided in a minibus with a capacity of up to 8 guests, featuring free WiFi on board and a professional driver certified for NCC.
No problem even for larger groups.

FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM THE NORTH (MILAN – BOLOGNA – ETC. ETC.): take the A14 highway to the ANCONA NORD exit, then take the SS76 state road towards Jesi-Fabriano. Drive along the entire SS76 expressway until the end. After the expressway, you will pass through a series of tunnels. After the Valtreara tunnel (about 3 km), take the exit on the right for BORGO TUFICO – CAMERINO – MATELICA on SP 256. Pass BorgoTufico/Albacina and continue towards Cerreto d'Esi on SP 256. After passing Cerreto d'Esi, you will reach Matelica after about 7 km.
FOR THOSE COMING FROM THE SOUTH (Adriatic Coast: ABRUZZO, PUGLIA, ETC.): Take the A14 motorway to the CIVITANOVA MARCHE exit, then exit and follow the SS77 road towards Tolentino-Foligno. Drive along the SS77 until the exit for Camerino-Muccia. Follow signs for Camerino on the SP132, then take the SP256 towards Castelraimondo-Matelica. Pass the Canepina area, then reach Castelraimondo. From there, follow signs towards Matelica along the SP256, and after 7 km, you will reach Matelica.
FOR THOSE COMING FROM THE TYRRHENIAN COAST (SOUTH): Head towards Rome, then take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A.) around Rome, followed by the A1 – E45 motorway towards Florence until reaching Orte. Exit at Orte, heading towards Terni – Spoleto – Foligno. Once in Foligno, follow signs for Nocera Umbra – Gualdo Tadino – Fabriano. In Fossato di Vico, take the SP256 to Fabriano and continue on the SS road to the BORGO TUFICO – CAMERINO – MATELICA exit on the SP256. Pass Borgo Tufico/Albacina, heading towards Cerreto d’Esi on the SP256, and after passing Cerreto d’Esi, you will reach Matelica after approximately 7 km.
FOR THOSE COMING FROM ROME: Take the Rome Grande Raccordo Anulare (G.R.A.), then proceed on the A1 – E45 highway towards Florence until reaching Orte. Exit at Orte, heading towards Terni – Spoleto – Foligno. Upon reaching Foligno, follow the signs for Nocera Umbra – Gualdo Tadino – Fabriano. In Fossato di Vico, take the SP256 towards Fabriano, and continue on the SS road to the BORGO TUFICO – CAMERINO – MATELICA exit on the SP256. Pass Borgo Tufico/Albacina, heading towards Cerreto d’Esi on the SP256, and after passing Cerreto d’Esi, you will reach Matelica after approximately 7 km.
FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM BOLOGNA: Depart from Bologna Central Station towards Ancona and then Fabriano (Eurostar is recommended). Once you arrive in Fabriano, a shuttle bus for the event will be available to Matelica. For prices and schedules, please check www.ferroviedellostato.it.
PER CHI ARRIVA DA BOLOGNA: Stazione Centrale Bologna con direzione Ancona e successivamente Fabriano (si consiglia l’uso dell’Eurostar), giunti a Fabriano ci sarà a disposizione un Bus navetta della manifestazione per Matelica. Per prezzi e orari consultare www.ferroviedellostato.it.
FOR THOSE ARRIVING FROM ANCONA: Depart from Ancona Station towards Fabriano (Eurostar is recommended). Once you arrive in Fabriano, a shuttle bus for the event will be available to Matelica. For prices and schedules, please check www.ferroviedellostato.it.
FOR THOSE LANDING IN ROME: From Fiumicino or Ciampino airport, take the train line to Termini Railway Station with direction Fabriano (Eurostar is recommended). FOR THOSE LANDING IN FALCONARA: From Leonardo da Vinci Airport, take the train/bus line to Falconara Railway Station and head towards Fabriano (Eurostar is recommended). FOR THOSE LANDING IN BOLOGNA: From Guglielmo Marconi Airport, take the train/bus to Bologna Centrale Railway Station and head towards Ancona. Afterward, change to a train heading to Fabriano (Eurostar is recommended). Once you arrive in Fabriano, a shuttle bus for the event will be available to Matelica.
